The Byfjord boat parade brings a maritime dimension to Constitution Day, with flags, decorated boats and views of Bergen from the water.
Provisional programme for 2027
The 10:30 time is based on the 2026 programme. The start time, meeting point, route, parade leader and participant information for 2027 have not been finally confirmed.
In 2026, the parade began between Bjorøy and Hilleren, followed the shore northwards along the city and ended off Eidsvågsneset. It did not enter Vågen. These details provide planning background, rather than sailing instructions for 2027.
Before setting off
Decorate your boat, take account of weather and sea conditions, and wear a life jacket. Follow the applicable navigation rules and this year’s instructions from the organisers. Updated speed, formation and VHF channel information will be published when confirmed.
