Bergen has five processions. The map shows provisional routes for four of them. For the rowing teams’ procession, the finishing area at Dreggekaien is shown; the detailed street route will follow. Toilets, first-aid stations and other facilities will be added as their locations are confirmed.

Solheim’s war cemetery is a dedicated memorial section for people from Bergen who fell during the Second World War. Consecrated in 1950, it contains 93 graves and memorial plaques bearing a further 936 names. The grounds and memorial were refurbished in spring 2025.
The section lies west of Løbergsveien. Use the cemetery authority’s overview map to find the section labelled Æreskirkegården.
The memorial to the five men who fell in the Battle of Alvøen on 16 May 1808. It stands at Korskirken, where they were buried.

The torchlight procession’s starting area, between Rosenkrantztårnet and Hovedvakten. It leaves through the main gate and continues along Bradbenken.
Fredrik Meltzer’s grave is at Assistentkirkegården, between Stadsporten and Store Lungegårdsvann. The Committee honours the designer of Norway’s flag with a wreath-laying ceremony.
The cemetery opened in 1837. Ole Bull is also buried here.

Scouts light beacons on Ulriken, Løvstakken, Sandviksfjellet and Lyderhorn. These are four separate mountains, rather than one shared meeting point. The scouts manage the fire sites and safe access.

The John Lund memorial plaque is on the University’s social sciences building at John Lunds plass. The morning procession stops here to honour the long-serving 17 May chairman.
