PLAN YOUR VISIT
Plan your journey to Constitution Day in Bergen. The 2026 arrangements are a provisional guide until Skyss and Bergen municipality confirm the plans for 2027.
In 2026, Bergen city centre was closed to public transport from 07:00 to 15:00, and buses followed altered routes. This is a provisional guide for 2027. Check departures and stops in the Skyss journey planner closer to the day.
In 2026, a large part of Bergen city centre was closed to ordinary vehicle traffic from 07:00 to midnight. Public transport was excluded from the centre from 07:00 to 15:00; scheduled services could pass afterwards where traffic regulations allowed. The Committee is using the same general arrangements as a provisional guide for 2027 until new information is available. Exact boundaries, exceptions and diversions will be updated once this year’s traffic decisions and maps are ready.
Allow extra time, especially if you are taking part in a procession or attending a ceremony. Follow signs and directions from police and stewards. Skyss and Bergen municipality provide current service information and traffic updates.
Details for 2027 have not yet been announced. We will update this page when the authorities and Skyss publish this year’s plans. Always check the latest official information before travelling.
